My name is Julian Redman and I design and make quality bespoke fitted and freestanding wooden furniture to commission, from my workshop on the Somerset levels.
Each project, be it a single shelf, table or chair, to a complete kitchen or interior, is individually designed to meet the clients every need, in terms of the finished look, required function, and where appropriate the proportions and features of the room in which the work will be positioned or fitted.
Styles from classically traditional through flowing curves to unique cutting-edge can be explored. Every piece made is unique and tailored especially for you.
I am a member of the 'Association for Environmentally Conscious Building' and have an ethical approach to my methods of work and materials used. Not all the wood used is certified, however I can normally advise the provenance of a piece, especially in the case of native timber. My work is finished with organic oils, waxes or natural paints.
Every piece I make is a unique one-off and I will see it through from conception through evolution to completion.
